Spring Show
Wows Arie Crown Crowd!
In May, 2004, South Shore Drill Team performed at
Arie Crown Theater in Chicago's McCormick Place. ABC-7 Sportscaster
Jim Rose was the emcee, along with radio personality, DJ Phantom,
one of the original members of the South Shore Drill Team.
The show opened by honoring members of the team who were college
and high school graduates. The young performers went on to delight
the near capacity audience, projecting their abundant energy and
talent throughout the 90-minute event. The second half of the show
was introduced by Senator Barak Obama, who described himself as
a huge fan of the team!
