South Shore Drill Team relies on the generous support of many partners, including funders and other organizations. The team works with youth-serving networks, such as Chicago Area Project (CAP), After School Matters, the Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) Region 5, and Youth Network Council. Major funders include the Comer Science & Education Foundation, CAP, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through DFSS, and the Chicago Community Trust. The team also receives funding from the Illinois Arts Council, the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority, the J.R. Houlsby Foundation, and the Albert Pick, Jr. Fund. Over the past two years, South Shore Drill Team has been the beneficiary of major service grants from the Chicago Arts & Business Council for a marketing plan and Taproot Foundation for rebuilding this website. The team partners regularly with the Chicago Police Department, various universities, schools, and churches, and numerous government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
